All drivers need to onboard with Gigee and its partner Gigsafe. Specifically, any driver who is not onboarded by September 1st will lose access to the Expedite app.
You may receive two 1099s: one from dlivrd (for earnings prior to this change) and one from Gigsafe (for post-onboarding earnings).
A 1099 is issued per entity in which you earned at least $600.
Screening before 9/1 includes a free MVR.
After 9/1 the cost of the MVR screening will be at the expense of the driver.
No. Expedite built the current dlivrd driver app. The new app will look the same just under the Expedite name.
Sure! As an independent contractor, you choose what to wear, so there is no need to throw out any dlivrd gear. That said, we do plan to have plenty of Expedite materials available soon!
